Is it reasonably possible to capture video streams from two cameras, and at the same time capture 8 audio tracks (or more) and have them stay in sync? My only experience has been recording from camcorder to computer using Pinnacle Studio. I want to use a Presonus FP-10 (or an Alesis !o26) as the audio interface. I want record a folk music ensemble. (I of course will need to make sure my laptop can handle all this data, but if it won't, I might have to borrow my grandson's super souped-up Alienware machine.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
