I'm trying to burn VCDs that will play on my JVC XV-522 DVD player. I know this is possible because I can play official VCDs and some unofficial ones without a hitch.
However, the CDs I'm burning at the moment are all jumpy and choppy and pretty much unwatchable. Play them on my PC and they're fine. I've tried altering the burn speed but no effect - I've burnt on 3 different kinds of media (blue, silver and CD-RW) and even different size discs(650MB and 700MB). All to no avail.
Can somebody PLEASE tell me which kind of CD media will work for this DVD player. The brands used so far are (PNY technologies, Traxdata silver, HP CD-RW, and PC Line) - the next I'm going to try are Maxell. Can anybody confirm that this WILL work, or that it won't so I can save my money. If not, what brand do you recommend?
Thanks
