  1. Does anyone know how in the hell I can convert an MP3 file to a WAV file, or any other audio file for that matter? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. For the best quality conversion use LAME to convert your mp3s to wavs and vice versa. It's a command line encoder/decoder so you may want to use a frontend GUI like RazorLAME.
    Here is a good tutorial:

Nero has a built in file encoder under the Extras tab.
Works for me all the time.

  4. I think winamp has something like that, but it's been a long time so don't quote me on it.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

Definitly, with WinAmp you can choose wav file as output.Instead of playing the mp3, it will save the file as .wav.
