Hi,
I have a 91 minute movie (13ghosts) that I originally converted to 2 VCD files with TMPG.
I then decided to 'squeeze' it on to 1 CD so I combined the two parts (had problems with the audio being out of sync - had to demultiplex the parts then combine the video and audio separately - then remultiplex - but that is a different story) :-)
I re-ran it through TMPG to 'squeeze' it down under 700MB (thanks to the recent guide by newgen) and the movie was very nice (a tiny bit pixelated but hardly noticeable).
I then noticed that the middle of the movie had about 6 duplicate frames (from the end of the first part and the beginning of the second).
I used VDub to delete the offending frames with no problem.
Here is where my inexperience will really show:
I don't see a way to save it as an mpeg1 - only avi.
I don't really want to wait 4 hours for it to go through TMPG again ...
Is there a way to save it in VDub as a mpeg1?
Much thanks in advance and please forgive the spelling errors.
