  1. I once saw a film where the star was trying to see what was on a video tape VHS. What he was looking for was just out of shot to the right but he was able to move it to the side so he could see what he needed to.

    Is that possible? I know someone who was on tv but just out of shot. Is the shot wider than is shown and can i move it to see them? It is a video.ts file streamed from the site with livesteamer

    There may be a small amount of video information hidden when watching VHS, but that can't be said for digital video. Nothing is hidden and no more information can be got unless you are on the TV Show CSI, where anything is possible.

    Unless you have a Lytro lightfield image...

    Or the image is a viewport from a 360 video.
