I have Win7/64, using the Video Browser editing software (V 2.0) that came with my Canon camcorder. I successfully used it last a few months ago. Today when I wanted to some more home movie editing, when I dragged a clip to be edited, I had background noise and/or music that I'd previously added, but no video. I can get a video in the little thumbnail details screen in the right upper corner, but not when I try to edit.
It doesn't matter whether I drag over an unedited clip or edited clip, nor even when I use a clip from the "Read editing operation" file.
I updated the software to version 2.7, but it still acts the same way.
I'm desperate, as I need to finish these home movies for my kids and grandkids.
Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
