I've got some vhs tapes I want to convert using my Pioneer DVD recorder. The recorder has a 3D adjustable comb filter which can either be manually adjusted or one can select the existing presents, of one is named "VHS". Would you recommend I juse use the VHS preset or manually adjust it? And if so does anyone know what kind of settings I should manually select? Thanks!

Things recorded from TV and also Pre-recorded (ie purchased) Hollywood stuff.

the pre-recorded Hollywood stuff tapes will have copy protection that will need to be bypassed in order to copy them.
ones recorded from tv should be easy. -
Copy protection isn't a problem - I just want to know if anyone has experience with this 3D comb filter and what settings they'd recommend
