  1. Hello, dear all.

    I think AHD Subtitles Maker is a very interesting subtitle program to explore its features.

    Do you know how to make this program open flv and MP4 video files directly ( for subtitling purposes), without needing any convertion to another formats, just like AVI / Xvid container / codec for example?

    Thanks for the tips!

    Best regards.

  2. I haven't used this before, but a workaround until the author decides to support other formats would be to use avisynth and frameserve with avfs

  3. Hello, dear all.

    @poisondeathray: Thanks for the advice!

    I also ask for help outside this site and the author's program send me some tips about the subject:

    Hello,
    AHD Subtitles Maker depends on DirectShow components for media playback, thus you need DirectShow filters to support more media types, by default, Windows® come with these formats.
    For the media you try to open with ASM, please make sure that it is playable with Windows Media Player. If not, please install media codec pack (such as K-Lite Media Codec) which install more direct show filters in your system and may fix the problem.

    Thank you for using AHD Subtitles Maker

    I'm very cautious about installing codec packs on my PC or notebook. I'm afraid that such packs mess with other program on PC.

    But, I could find some things that may help.

    Perhaps such programs can help. I do not tested yet!

    Thanks for helping.

    Best regards.
