  1. I have the [TMD] copy of Panic Room (two parts) and it has a bit of a hiss in the soundtrack. So I joinrd the files seamlessly and ripped the sound and used the hiss reduction filter in CoolEdit and attached the audio back to the video. But now I get a strange ring. It sounds like someone hitting a wine glass every few minutes. The ring changes in pitch everytime it does it. I've tried editing the sound again in CoolEdit bit I haven't been able to get it out. Does anyone know what my problem is and how to fix it?

  2. Still haven't figured out what's wrong with it. I'm beginning to think it was in the soundtrack of the copy to beging with and my cleaning it up made it more noticeable.

  3. If your copy of CoolEdit is not registered and is a demo, the ringing is there way of telling you it's time to buy it.

  4. Is there anyway I can remove it without having the full version? If I do get the fullversion can I get rid of it then?

Nope... getting the full version is the only way to get rid of this. Plus, you will have to redo the ENTIRE audio file. You might try to find Cool Edit 95 somewhere. This doesn't have the audio plugin tools, but it does have some simple hiss removeal stuff (and doesn't put the "bell" in the audio).
