Apologies if this is in the incorrect place but i need help please and thnx

I have 9 episodes of something in MPEG-2 TS Video (.ts) each is approx 1.7GB and i need to somehow put them all onto a dual layer dvdr
I appreciate the quality wont be awesome due to shrinkage but dual layer is the biggest so im a little stuck.
I have managed to put them on a BD25 but not everyone had a BD player so any help would be really appreciated
This is a cancer series and as im in that community elsehere i was hoping i could get help here to help others wanting to watch this series

Thank you so much in advance for any help

Are you looking dvd player compatibility? Then convert/shrink to a dvd-video with avstodvd. But you will lose any hd quality.

You could also convert/shrink to mp4/mkv files with for example Vidcoder. Do a test encode first. Your source might be interlaced so you have to add deinterlacing.

Thank you for your reply earlier
I have tried twice now to use the programme and on both occasions it completed BUT on attempt 1 i chose DVD9 as output and it produced 9.06 which is too big for disk then on attempt 2 i chose Custom Size and set to 8200 or 8100 and that too produced a 9.06. Any idea if im doing something wrong?
    Appreciate all your input

  5. use the 9.06gb file with dvd shrink

    start dvd shrink

edit > preferences> target dvd size

    dvd-9 8.5gb

    save

    open files

    find your video_ts

    let it load

    click backup

    choose where to save it

    click ok

    wait till its done

    and burn it
