Split files sound doesnt match up

How come when I use the video downloadhelper and then play the file the sound matches but when I use mp4 splitter it doesn't . I dont understand why? john

Just a bit of a wild guess, but also a hunch: the file is variable framerate. The splitter is attempting to convert it to constant framerate in the process of playing it, but because of fragmentation, it doesn't do it properly. Hence, out of sync.

Try more splitters like avidemux. Set start, stop. Save.

But probably variable framerate as Cornucopia mentions.
