Think very very carefully before you install the latest drivers (v5.01) that are mentioned on the main site sidebar today.
I installed these on my Windows XP system and had the following issues ...
1) Abominable picture quality; from crystal clear (under v4.02) to a vile muddy grey (v5.01)!
2) Video lagged audio by 2.5 seconds!!!! - reminded me of using one of those dreadful USB TV devices. I have never seen anything this bad before when using a PCI TV card; in fact I have never seen audio/video sync problems with a PCI TV card in ordinary TV viewing mode, until I saw these drivers!
In short - completely unusable for me. I uninstalled them within ten minutes and reverted to 4.02. They may well work for somebody else, but be prepared for a big disappointment.
I really think Pinnacle should do a little more testing before releasing this kind of thing.
Test system: Duron 1GHZ, 512MB RAM, SiS DIrectX 8 compliant 3D display adapter.
