  1. I have this avi/divx file. I need to encode it to Mpeg-2. I am using TGMPEnc. I have already seperated the audio track and saved it to .wav 44.1 using VirtualDub. I am in TGMPEnc now and I am encoding half of the file to fit on one CD using the SVCD template in TGMPEnc. When I go to start the encoding process my aspect ratio is now 4:3 instead of 16:9. Usually the ratio is automatically set to 16:9, but no matter how I set the ratio, it still comes out full screen top to bottom stretching the top and bottom of the video to fill the whole screen. It does not look good this way because everything is streched out of proportion. I tried it with Kwag's template and it still come out this way. If I watch the original file with my Divx player it looks normal.

    Thanks in advance. :)

  2. It's OK. I got it figured out. I had the "Full Screen" selected on the "Advanced" tab in TMPGEnc. I need to use "Full Screen (Keep aspect ratio) selected instead. You still have a great forum here and I have learned lots from reading all the posts.

    Thanks again. :)
