  2. probably bob() for "normal" filters , or GPU deinterlacing on DGDecodeNV if using GPU

    You can use avsmeter to check CPU usage and speed

  3. Yadif is not significantly slower and provide better results than Bob.- seem to be best fast deinterlacer.

    Avsmeter, wow what a great tool suggestion pdr. I should make it a habit to read everything you post in this forum. I never fail to learn something.

    I would go Yadif, middle of the road quality wise and not much of a CPU hog.
