Obviously, when you asked to use my program that uses ffmpeg as Baldrick suggested you were again shotgunning in all directions.

    I think thats called:

    pla·gia·rism
    ˈplājəˌrizəm/Submit
    noun
the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.
synonyms: copying, infringement of copyright, piracy, theft, stealing; informalcribbing
    "accusations of plagiarism"

As far as just getting rid of them because they are mostly eyesores, you can 'Smear/Smooth/Blur,etc.' them so you can't tell what they were but there's no way to replace an image behind them since nothing can tell what used to be there after the logo was added.

Kind of depends on the logo. The 'see-through' ones can be removed more or less successfully.

    Hi

To add a logo. ("watermark") very simply, you can also use "AviUtl ExtraPack", freeware (no spywares etc.). Make sure you download the "ExtraPack" version (otherwise, quite messy to prepare).

—— See a little demo. I just made, attached.

You'll see that ".png" images with transparent zones are supported, which allow free shaped graphics. Although my tiny sized demo. is not, the result is or can be very clean.

Under Win. 32-bit, "AviUtl" (I used v 1.8) might complain at 1st launch, about two missing files:

    "msvcr100.dll" & "D3DX9_43.dll" — that can be downloaded: http://fr.dll-files.com/d3dx9_43.dll.html & http://fr.dll-files.com/msvcr100.dll.html

Add them into "AviUtl" main folder, the one containing "aviutl.exe".

    _______________________________

"AviDemux" & "VirtualDub" also allow watermarking, but not as simply.

—— "AviDemux": filters, under Video output > double click Add logo. Then provide a JPEG image — BUT: 1. that .jpg or image of any format, HAS to be resaved to ".jpg", using "XnConvert", usual JPEGs being incompatible with "AviDemux"; 2. JPEG format does not support transparency, therefore, the logo. cannot be of some free shape: it has to be either rectangular or square.

—— "VirtualDub (VD)" can open "AVC H.264 .mp4" but needs plug-ins... The special "VirtualDub FFMpeg plugin" is quite handy, forcing "VD" compatibility with several video formats (uncompress it to the "plugins32 or 64" subfolder"); then, don't drop videos on "VD" but: menu File > Open, and at bottom, select "FFmpeg supported files", before clicking your video.

Lastly, some version of the "Logo.vdf" filter (very light file) is also required, in the "plugin32 or 64" subfolder. It expects ".bmp" images, and its settings let you set gradual transparency if you want, up to total transparency on one color — but usually outputs pixelated shapes edges...

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Another "VD" plug-in, named "Region remove", "erases" — more or less! — hard coded logos. (or anything you want), but it always shows, since it proceeds by (mechanically) duplicating pixels...

  11. Would adding watermark affect the quality of the video?

Yes, since you'd have to reencode at least the part that has the logo. If the logo is to deface the entire video then the entire video has to be reencoded. How much the quality degrades (I mean more than just ruining it with a logo in the first place) depends partly on how well you do the reencoding. If you add the logo as an external subtitle, then no reencoding is done and the video quality isn't affected (beyond ruining the video with a stupid logo).
