Have you used that media with that burner before successfully?
That's a really old PATA burner, I had one back in 2006.
It may not have the proper firmware to burn your disc.
Or you have bad media, though VBs are generally good. -
I recently burned an ISO successfully on this media. The firmware is the recent, it is old, I don't burn frequently, I tend to rely on other media instead. Is there any solution around this ?

Just keep burning cause it's most likely a few bad discs.

If it keeps burning bad discs then it's most likely your burner is failing,i just had to replace my 8x lg blu-ray burner with a 16x lg burner and it burns much better.

It worked, I tried another DVD+R disc and all is good, it was the disc.
