Complete newbie in search of help

I'm simply trying to burn a copy of a VCD I already have and I'm having absolutely no luck at all. I have a copy of the Dave Matthews Band Live in Chicago vcd. It works perfectly fine in my dvd player, but i'm having a horrible time trying to burn it. I use the easy Cd creator that came w/ my comp. I use TDK CD-Rs. I tried burning it today at a speed of 4X. I chose the CD copier function, and after waiting 5 hours for it to finish IT DIDN'T WORK!!! Now I have a trade set up for this and I need to uphold my half of the trade, so...any suggestions on what i'm doing wrong or any help at all is greatly appreciated.

Like I said I have absolutely no clue where to start.

CloneCD copies the CD in RAW mode (hope your burner support it).
It will copy (clone) the VCD 1:1.
