Joining multiple avi files

I'm trying to join multiple avi files into one big file but I would like a 15 sec pause betweeen them when they are played back

I guess you need an advanced editor then...like window live movie maker. Just add a 15 seconds still image between each avi.

Or do you want to batch join everything?

Ideally everything is going to be burnt to dvd as his life's work I suggested a menu but he said he wanted it to play continuously
there is 8 small files
