A friend sent me several videos through Dropbox. There are .bup, .vob, and .ifo files for each video. How can I watch them on Windows 10? I have tried VLC media player, Media player classic, windows media player, Corel windvd pro 11, and I downloaded ex codec pack 27.4. All of the information I can find online so far has been mostly about watching actual DVD's, and not downloaded files.
I hope someone can help...

Place them in a VIDEO_TS folder.....dragging and dropping the VIDEO_TS.ifo file into a player usually works best.
I am stuck with the same issue. On Windows 10 and having a lot of DVDs downloaded as IFO, BUP and VOB files. How do I play them ?
You play them the same way you play them on older Windows operating systems (doh!). The answer has been given.
Almost every player (except Windows Media Player) supports playing DVD folders with File -> Open Folder, or similar menu selection.
You can also associate the IFO file type with a media player, then double click on the VIDEO_TS.IFO file to launch that player.
Or you can right click on an IFO file, select Open With, then navigate to the player of your choice.
As Skiller said, this is the same with earlier versions of Windows.
I tried with RealPlayer and VLC.
When using VLC(for Windows 10) downloaded from the App-Store - Version VLC v18.104.22.168 For Windows Store - it doesnt even open. There is no way to open the file in VLC - It doesnt even recognize the file under Videos even when I add all the files in the downloaded DVD files folder.
RealTimes says it needs to download some software and then says it cannot play this file.
I am on Dell Inspiron 5520 with i7 and 64-bit OS.
I have all my downloaded DVD files for each DVD under a folder with the DVD title and 2 sub folders AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. All the IFO, BUP and VOB files are in the VIDEO_TS folder.
I also have an App on my laptop called Windows DVD player. It crashes every time I try to play this file with drag and drop. There is no MENU to select File - Play etc...

Other players I tried that worked: MPCHC, KMPlayer, PotPlayer.
