  1. Almost all the MKV's I downloaded have an info like this (mkvmerge version varies of course):
    mkvmerge v7.5.0 ('Glass Culture') 32bit built on Jan 4 2015 16:37:25
    libebml v1.3.1 + libmatroska v1.4.2
    As far as I know mkvmerge only merges multiple streams into one MKV-file, so I guess it's just part of some process. But what software actually compresses the Blu-Ray files to those streams, that mkvmerge finally merges?

    RIPBOT264 does it.

    Run soft, load BD files, select settings and go.

    MKV or MP4 is done.
