I read the instructions so I see how, but I wonder if this is worth my time. I feel like a file is probably only as good as the source material. I have some mov files that are kind of pixelated or not overly clear. I think whoever made them used a shortcut in encoding that hurt overall quality. Is there any use in my trying to convert them to a better format or are they as good as they are going to get now??

well you might use a depixelate filter but you cant expect a miracle... it'll just make everything a bit more blurry.
