  1. I try and load the MP2 file into Tmpegenc and It fails to recoginise the format.

    Any ideas why ?

  3. Usually, .mp2 is an mpeg-1, layer-2 sound file. Mpeg-2 is a format that can include video or audio and video together.

  4. If you're on about .MP2 files created by the ATI Radeon card (which is what I guess you're on about) then to open them in TMPG you'll need to use DVD2AVI to create a .d2v file first and then open that instead and it works fine then.

  5. Yes you are correct the file was generated from the ATI Radeon, I have downloaded and run it through DVD2AVI which produces two files one for video and one for audio.

    Then I try and combine them I get a resulted MPEG1 file but the audio is out of sync any ideas, so close
