when I render a movie for 27 minute, I need to wait for 2 to 3 hours only then I can get the result by using Ulead MediaStudio Pro 6.0. Any method to speed up the rendering time?

Please describe your rendering process more detailed:
1. what is the format of the source ? (analog/DV/DVD/other)?
2. what is the resulting format ? (avi or mpeg-1/2)
3. Are you using any filters and/or frame cropping ?
My source is DV avi, so the rendering times are:
avi to avi: 30-50 frames/second
avi to mpeg-1: 10-20 frames/second
avi to mpeg-2: 7-10 frames/second
i.e no filtering or cropping involved.
This means, 30 min footage are rendered from 15 min to 1.5 hours, depending on type of result.
Rendering from mpeg-2 sources (DVD) adds about 1 hour per vob. -
Hi..
I had a similar problem with MediaStudio5, when I went to PREVIEW. It took forever to render the file. The solution was to change the resolution of the preview window.
I'm not sure if your problem is the time it takes to render a preview or to render the final video file, but if its the preview start by making sure the preview window is the same size as your source AVI files. If so then try lowering the resolution of the preview window. This should not affect your final output, only the preview.
