I just downlaoded the latest Opera and installed it on my desktop windows xp home computer.
Most web pages display correctly. This forum does. However, I am noticing that on some web sites, they don't display completely, or at all. For instance, this twitter site displays like text, all the way down the screen. I would post images, but they really are hard to upload on this forum, so please just take my word for it. Here's the link: https://www.twitter.com/kgall3
As for videos, such as the one's on the Flo Track websites, they display the error "this video isn't encoded for your device" with no video, link: http://www.flotrack.org/coverage/252353-Lignano-Meeting-International-2015/video/77642...d#.Vghqi1bwnIw
If you go to this URL, I receive a black screen with a rotating circle and error message "this video isn't encoded for your device" here is the link to that video: http://www.theverge.com/2015/7/28/9058341/motorola-moto-g-preview-specs
As far as youtube, those video seem to display and play ok, however, when I move the mouse around the screen anywhere, it chokes or studders, and also, when in fullscreen it studders a lot.
I did not have any of this trouble viewing videos and web pages before when using the older Opera v12.17 browser that I un-installed.
Has anyone heard of these issues and resolved them ?
Thanks.

Yeah, thanks to this link http://www.opera.com/download//?ver=12.17 I was able to reinstall v12.17 again, and the videos and other web pages display correctly again.
But the reason for the initial uninstall and install of the newest version was to try and resolve this strange video display I was seeing on the ooyala.com videos from the Flo Track website. I can't seem to fix it. Even reinstalling v12.17 did not fix it.

youtube videos and also this kind of video link plays without those errors or artifacts.

it seems only videos from the ooyala.com player based sites that causes this problem.
and, this page (below) does not display correctly.
https://play.google.com/store/movies/collection/topselling_free_episode
and this does not display at all. I can only see "Instagram" at the top. The rest is a white page.

Yep, my 'no script' add-on for Firefox doesn't allow that page to display either. Some Javascript and other Arab words. Maybe it's not safe.

Yes, but maybe there is other stuff running in the background that you don't see.
