Adding intro in to an MKV with MKV toolnix

Hi There,

i'm struggling with MKV merge/toolnix.

Its an wonderful program, but now at this moment its killing me.

I would like to merge an intro mkv file in an existing mkv video file.
The thing is, it merges like it supposed to do but wen i play the mkv file with my player it doesnt show the intro.

I have tried several things, sometimes it plays the intro but then the video film itself seems to be playing fast forward.

What am i doing wrong? Or is it even possible to doe with mkv toolnix?

if someone can help me out then i wil be pleased like ...

Funny thing this, if i place an attachment file, Jpeg then the jpeg is shown in my player, but with an other mkv video it wont play.

Most likely there is a mismatch between the intro video and the main video -- frame rate, dimensions, codec, level, or any one of dozens of other variables. You can post MediaInfo reports if you want help comparing them. Even the queue window in MKV toolnix will show many of the basics.

Do you use the append-button in mkvmergegui? Or else are you making a mkv with several video tracks.

Does it play okey on your computer?

im using the append button indeed. On pc also not playing okay like i hoped it would play.

They have different dimensions, different frame rates, different audio channels (2 vs. 6) - that's why it's not working. You would need to make those characteristics the same in order to even have a chance of it working.
