    May I ask what may be a completely idiotic question? As the thread currently stands, the latest release anyone mentioned working with is 1.5.4, while just about every other post mentions the 1.4.xx release cycle. The current release is 1.5.10. Why are so few people using the more current versions of virtualdub? I frameserve from avisynth to tmpgenc in order to stream multisegmented video files, but my processing is done beforehand, so I'm not really aware of any important issues concerning later versions of virtualdub and frameserving. It's just as well, since certain of my favorite filters don't play nicely under frameserving, anyway...
