    hello,
    merci

    Hi,
I am looking for a good cutting soft
I have vob tool for vob but it s not good for every vob
I had another one for m2ts but after operation, the movie had lags
I am looking for a very good and strong software
    thanks

  3. If you're just splitting and don't need a preview, try TSMuxer for m2ts files. It'll probably open vob files too, but you'll need to save them as ts or m2ts.

WHy do you want vob? Because you can't just replace the vobs later in a DVD.

no, just to watch on my computer
but it's ok now I read about vob and it seems that mpeg is vob
I used mpg2cut2 for doing my job
but I dont know how to cut a part inside the file
I can cut the beginning and the end, but inside the movie, I don't know

VOB is a container for MPEG encoded video authored for DVD disc. If you want VOB's, you first edit your MPEG videos and author them to VOB. If you want computer only playback, you don't need to author VOB's. You just use edited MPEG. Smart renering editors like TMPGEnc and VideoReDo are not authoring programs, they're editors and remuxers. TMPGenc Editor has an authoring feature, but you're wasting your time if all you want is PC instead of authored DVD disc.

VOB is useless outside of DvD playback. In fact, it could be problematic if residual metadata-like DvD info that may still be present in the container (such as segmentation), which is why you can't just rename the suffix from .vob to .mpg. You need to properly re-mux (which is done by apps, such as those mentioned here).

Heard somewhere that you can actually mux H.264 into VOB. Yes, even more useless, but can make great conversation at parties.
I hate VHS. I always did.

    edit: issue is resolved
but now, I tryed VideoRedoTVSuite, but I don't like it, it's to complicate and I didn't succeeded to cut my m2ts file.
about TMPG, I cannot open it. I just don't find the right file on the folder.

Is there any other soft for editing m2ts? but something easy to use (I would like to keep my m2ts file, no compression after editing)

    thanks

It really doesn't get any easier (or better) than those two for smart-render editing. It's not clear why it isn't working for you.

ok, we can beginn with TMPG
how to open it, because I can't see any .exe file in the folder

  13. Let's make sure we're on the same page. We're talking about TMPGenc Smart Renderer to cut and reconstruct vob and mts files, correct? Sounds like you didn't install it correctly if there's no exe.

    Hi,
    thanks for your new link
I had the wrong soft before

but.. it says ''a watermark appears on encoded pictures on this trial version''
anyway, the software seems to be very complicated to use

    I found this one
    https://www.videohelp.com/software/Smart-Cutter-Ps-Ts
it looks more easy to handle
    do you know it?
