    Hello

I have a MP3 file and would like to convert contents to text. Can anyone recommend a good Audio To Text software?

I was thinking about the Dragon Naturally Speaking software but i don't think it's audio to text compatible, then again i could be wrong. I have tried the Listen N Write software but the text did not write any of the audio dialog, which i couldn't understand why as it's a pretty strait forward software.

    Thanks

    I've never tried it though.
It's not important the problem be solved, only that the blame for the mistake is assigned correctly

That is totally Dragon's reason for existence: voice/audio to text. And it is very likely your best bet for the money.

  4. But in order to get better than mediocre results, you need to "train" the software to your voice. If you just have 1 recording, the accuracy usually won't be great on 1 try.

Very true, but it could be worth a try anyway if the OP already has access to Dragon. Plus, I have had reasonable success with it even with untrained operation.
Regardless, there will need to be some corrective editing done.
