Hi, while reading a tweet from "Shannon Rowbury" https://twitter.com/RunnerSpace_com where she mentioned something about watching the her race on ESPN. I don't have that station with my current directv package. So, I am searching around for the link the live streaming feed, if there will be one, but I can't find a source that has a link. I did go the the http://espn.go.com/ website to search for it, but it is so slow at displaying a page and scrolling down the page(s) is even slower, like, a few rows of pixels and then it stops for a moment, and scrolls a few more pixels, etc. Its just impossible for me to be on that website searching.

I don't care so much about ESPN. I am actually looking for the race Shannon mentioned. Its suppose to happen in NY, I think, some time around 1pm or so. ahh, "5th avenue mile" is the race, I think.

Are there any track and field sports fan's here, that might know a few tricks to finding these live streaming ?

    Thanks.

Google tells me that WABC-TV, Channel 7 will have the race available on demand at their website. http://abc7ny.com/

a bit late getting back....yes, i was scanning the channels and found it, recorded to dvr and also captured it w/ studio ad/dv card. I saw some partials on youtube and the quality was not very good, as usual. And they weren't widescreen. I thought being HD digital, ABC (or ESPN) would broadcast it in widescreen. And, do people even know how to de-interlace? I was disappointed at those youtube clips. Anyway.

ok, this one was much better, but someone is using a technique? to squeeze quality. I've seen other videos like this on youtube, but they were far worse.
