I like to convert mkv anime files to mp4 with subs using Xvid4PSP to use on my PSVITA but for some time now any anime mkv I convert to mp4 comes with a ridicules file size usually around 900 GB. The large file sizes leave a toll on my PSVITA memory. I've kept converted mp4 files(with a reasonable size) for over a year so I know it hasn't always been like that. Is the problem with XVID4PSP itself or does it lie in one of the codecs?

So you are using the 2-pass and set the file size but you get too big file size?
Have you checked so the converted video doesn't contain just black at the end? Too long runtime. -
I was actually converting several anime mkv vids before realizing the file sizes were too big for all of them.
The top one I converted from XVID4PSP last year and the bottom one I converted very recently. The major difference between the two is with the data rate and the bit rateLast edited by MetalKoromon; 14th Sep 2015 at 01:43.
