Is anyone having problems recently with the speed of responses from this site? It is so slow for me now that even my browsers time out most times and when trying to upload an image, the response is so slow, this also times out. The only way it works for me is to try another route through New York.
I even bought the latest router and speed everywhere is fine now except here. Just curious if something has changed.

I have had intermittent problems with timeouts loading VideoHelp.com with both Firefox and Chrome over the past week on 2 different Windows PCs, although not today. I might have to wait for up to a half an hour before VideoHelp, com would load. I thought maybe VideoHelp.com was down, but "Is it down or just me?" always said that it was just me.

I have intermittent problems, but can probably attribute almost all of them to the router. Reboot takes care of it - for a while.

Baffling... Nothing else is slow but this site takes about 45 seconds - 2 minutes to respond to anything. I went from a cheap router to a NetGear R6300V2 dual band and it made no difference. This network goes from an antenna on my roof to a tower in town 3 miles away and then into the internet.
I have DSL also that used to work fairly well as a backup but even that is getting long timeouts now although not quite as bad, (20-30 seconds). One of the mysteries I guess. Maybe Wireshark will help pinpoint the area. Thanks everyone for feedback. -

I just uploaded two graphics files, about 7MB each, about 10 - 20 seconds each. Not blazing fast but OK.
I'm guessing you have run a few speed tests on your links? We also have some bots running around here
and that or something else here might be triggering your antivirus. But no complaints lately on speed from me, anyway.
