Hello, I'm having trouble with bookmarking time-stamps within a video. As you may know when you press N within a video it memorizes that location, and then when you press B it shows all the time-stamps you've bookmarked.

Now this used to work fine for me. But now even though it works temporarily, once I close the video all these time-stamps are lost.

    Can anyone advise?

    Thanks!
    Dan

Could be just me but... I tried the N and B thing while watching a video in Potplayer but they didn't work... So I tried it with a hex editor, nope no go there either. VirtualDub... Nope.

    bookmarking time-stamps within a video.
    it memorizes that location
How within a video? What it?
Sounds like a nice feature but I must have missed something...

Not sure what Potplayer and VirtualDub have to do with this. Unless they're the same company? Otherwise I wouldn't expect what works in one player to work in another.

While watching a video in GOM press N. Then press B.

When you press B you should get a pop-up saying: Create Bookmark, Clear All Bookmarks, and a few other options.

Now before you press N you should just see the default when you press B. After you press N, when you press B it should show a timestamp as to where in the video you bookmarked.

This much should happen for everyone. I dont have an issue up to this point. My problem is when I close the video I'm losing those bookmark timestamps.

Did you by chance forget to mention it was gom in your original post? Makes it much easier to check out now at least for me. Maybe I should have known but do not use gom much because .ass subtitles stll not all functional.

Let me check a couple versions.
    Thanks

Oh I'm sorry I thought everything on this forum was about GOM Player. I see now that GOM's nowhere in the url.

Anyway I figured out the problem yesterday. I updated the version and that fixed it, along with a few other issues it had. Man I wish I'd done this 6 months ago, so simple!
