  2. More likely something along the lines of Maya or Lightwave. Try Blender for a free solution. That's 3D animation, not a transition.

    BluffTitler could probably do that with quite a bit less learning curve (under the hood it is still a 3D animation app, though).

  6. You can probably get similar results in many programs, but very likely this was done in after effects with trapcode form and trapcode particular. There is nothing there that requires a true 3d program
