  1. Hi, but I'm a cat

    Please I wonder if virtualdub 64 bit can use a 64bit-directshow codec installed in windows (64bit version) to encode a video file?

    Yes, the 64-bit version of Virtualdub should be able to use the 64-bit Directshow codec. It did the last time I tested it a couple of years ago anyway.
    Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  3. vdub can't use directshow to encode (at least not directly), only vfw codecs

    I missed the "encode" part, I thought he was talking about decoder...
