  1. Hi, I have some troubles with audio and video not being synced when I convert a TV Show episode with Any Video Converter. I have tried several settings:
    Resolution: 624x352
    Quality: High
    Video codec: x264
    Vid. bitrate 2000
    FPS 23

    1. mp3 - .avi
    audio bitrate 256
    sample rate 32000

    2. mp3 - .avi
    AB 192
    SR 48000

    3. mp3 - .avi
    AB 128
    SR 8000

    4. mp3 - .avi
    AB 320
    SR 32000

These four tests came back same (or closely same) but the video is still not synced. I just changed audio settings for files obviously. The problem comes when I try to add subtitles and convert it. Without converting it works great and synced. I'm trying to play it on a Terrestrial receiver Globo GL30. I did a firmware update on it and still same. I made sure resolution and FPS are same on original file and converted file. Thanks for any help.

Audio should always be 44.1 or 48.

    Tried:
    audio bitrate 48
    sample rate 48000

And it's very close to being completely synchronized. Just can't figure out which one is late, audio or video because the difference is too small, but still relevant and noticeable.

  4. When you get that close you have to run it in slow motion to tell for sure. Persistence of vision can fool you. (If you want to see an example watch an academy countdown leader. When it's properly synced you will hear the beep while the indicator appears to show ~two frames left of the "3.")

  5. I might try it out but I'm pretty satisfied with this one to hassle so much over that 2-3 fps difference between audio and video. Thanks for the video, though I would get something longer than 2 seconds not to press play over and over :P

    Thanks.
