I note from Intervideo's website that they offer a runtime version of WinDVD as part of their MyDVD software package. This product is supposed to allow you to include the runtime player on the CD so that people without WinDVD can play it back. Is anyone familiar with this runtime version of WinDVD and do you know if it will play an SVCD like WinDVD does? Are there any other runtime MPEG2 players that can be put on the CD so that no codec or other files need to be setup in the Windows registry? I am looking for a single .exe file that will play MPEG2 without the need of other .dll or registry files. Does such a thing exist?
