So I was recording some PS3 gameplay all via HDMI. (Using an HDMI splitter to avoid the recording block.) My capture card is the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro. The HDMI outputs on the splitter went like this: One output to TV, one output to the input of the capture card. The audio played through the TV just fine, so I figured we were good to go. 3 one hour sessions later, and the game audio is missing from the videos. When I play the videos in Windows Media Player or open them in Sony Vegas, there is no game audio. Also, Vegas only shows a video channel when the file is inserted.
Is there a way to convert this? Am I out of luck? Is there a way to prevent this in the future?
Thank you for any contribution.
