    I did a very long Mandelbulb 3D fractal animation in the Mandelbulb 3D program. I saved all of the slides as jpegs. The program doesn't have any way of putting it together as a video and all of the tutorials stop when the jpeg renders are done and say find a film editing program to put them together as though we will automatically know how to do it all. I was able to put the animation in Virtual Dub which worked great. The problem is that I rendered the images so the last frame looped back to the first frame so I could loop the video. Is there any way to loop the video from the end frame back to the beginning frame so it will play through one more time? All of the posts I have read have been for looping as in rotating the images in the video. I don't want to do anything to the images in the video. I just want to repeat it over again from the last frame back to the first to play it through one more time. Is there any way I can do this and if so, could you give me the steps really clearly because I have trouble with confusing instructions because I am in chronic pain and it's hard to concentrate.? I would be so very grateful for any help you can give. Also, is there any way to repeat the music over or do I need to merge 2 versions of the song together in an audio editor? Thank you so much. 2. Looping would usually be a feature of the player. You just set the player to repeat the video over and over again. If you want to include two loops in the video file just use the copy/paste tool in VirtualDub. Of course, your video will be twice as long. In VirtualDub:

    1) Edit -> Select All
    2) Edit -> Copy
    3) Edit -> Clear Selection.
    4) Move to end of video and select Edit -> Paste.

    Repeat step 4 for as many times as you want the video to loop.

  3. Another option might be to loop it in a player as a playback option. That way the filesize won't balloon up (e.g. if you had 10 total loops, it will be 10x the filesize assuming the same compression was used)

  4. By the way, when players are set to loop a video they usually don't do so seamlessly. There's a little pause when the player loops back to the start.

  5. Yes, The seamless options are usually for consecutive (split) files. Maybe it wasn't such a good suggestion here

    I guess a more difficult way , but one that works is playing an avs script with loop() . Avisynth can playback seamlessly "n" loops . I guess it buffers the playback in memory cache

    But re-reading the request, it looks like it's only for 1+1 = 2 , not continuous looping playback

    It sounded to me as if the OP wants a (Start-to-End) progression, followed by a (End-to-Start) progression. If so, it is certainly possible to do in either AVISynth or Vdub. However, depending on the animation, I'm not sure if that's necessary.

  7. You may use ffmpeg (ffplay) to loop, you can create loop format (as gif for example then it will be kind of automatic - depend on player) - everything depend from what are your needs.
