If you do not already have one, you need a router. Most have 4 LAN ports for connecting other devices. If you do have a router but there is only one LAN connection, then you need a switch or a different router. Also, it is possible that when you connect both your TV box and a PC, you will find that you need to upgrade your Internet service so both of you can use the Internet at the same time.

  4. That box appears to have wireless networking --802.11b/g/n. You could just get a wireless adapter for the PC. You might have to enable wireless networking on the box -- usually via a browser connected to the ethernet port. Once it's configured you don't need the computer attached to the ethernet port any more the computer can use wireless.

Yes, wireless networking is another option worth investigating. In addition to needing wireless adapters for PCs, the router must have wireless capability. The main advantage of wired networking is that it can provide higher data transfer speeds, if it turns out that wireless doesn't work well enough for watching HD video or gaming.

The TV boxes are legal. Some of the add-ons available for Kodi/XBMC are not. For example, discussions related to the Genesis add-on are blacklisted on Kodi's forums, so my guess is that it facilitates downloading warez or does something else that violates Kodi's piracy policy.

No, we are also not allowed to talk about how to obtain warez. Read VideoHelp's rules. There is a link to them at the top of the page for this thread.

I've not used it, but it appears to "stream" content from the "internet", which likely means it's simply using torrents. We all know what happens with those using torrents, even people that think/thought they were safe using an app like popcorn hour ( http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/Studio-Hunting-11-Popcorn-TimeUsing-Comcast-Customers-134863 ).
