Love to try out this tool, but keep getting "Selected source is not BD format".

The source are ripped files on hdd, I know I need to select the folder that has the BDMV folder, but no luck. Of course I tried other folders just for the sake of it...

I did google the problem, but none of them really help.

If you just want to do a main movie backup, AND the movie only has one primary m2ts file instead of being split into many medium sized ones due to seamless branching, you could select that m2ts file in the Streams folder using the File-->Import-->Video file method. If you want the menu and extras, you'd need to import it as has already been shown.

What did you use to remove encryption and rip to the hard drive? The two programs I recommend for this are AnyDVD HD and MakeMKV (as an mkv or the full disc using Backup mode)

You could try ripping with MakeMKV and output to an mkv file. Import this mkv as a video file into BD Rebuilder. Again, you lose menus.

If for whatever reason BD-RB doesn't work as others have posted above, give BDtoAVCHD a try. You will lose menus, but it is a simple install and easy to use; and the results are very good.

The BD structure on the HDD might be messed up. Does it play in PDVD or other media software?

Yes, PDVD can play the files with no problem.

I ripped the files with AnyDVD HD, and I want to keep the menu, just want to remove unwanted extras and audio tracks.

Thanks, I'll take a look at BDtoAVCHD, but I prefer not to do any re-encoding

Any other suggestions that let me keep menu and no need to re-encode?

If it's > 25 GB I suppose you'll need to write to a DL BD
