    converting avi to mpeg using tmpeg 75% into the conversion i get this error iilegal floating decimal point calculation error

    can any of you bright people help me

    It means you have some bad frames in the original file.

    Install DivX Antifreeze; find a link under tools and change in TMPGEnc. under Environmental settings: VFAPI plug-ins: DirectShow Multimedia File Reader priority to 1 by right clicking it and select Higher Priority
