i have maybe 20 films circa 1 hour each that need converting from dv-avi to quicktime files

they are currently on a ntfs portable hard drive but i'd need to eventually supply them on a mac formatted portable hard drive

would anyone have any ideas as to the best way to approach this?

    Thank you

Do you want to remux(No video reconversion) to a quicktime mov? You could try mpeg streamclip or quicktime pro.

  3. Quicktime will read and understand dv-avi files. Macs can read (but not write to) NTFS disks. You may not need to do anything. What are you trying to accomplish that you need to convert them?
