avidemux playback speed

hey y'all
i'm pretty sure i could watch videos in avidemux at double speed but i can't seem to find the option anywhere. can anybodby tell me how again?

Avidemux is video editor NOT a player. Most of players can play files at double speed but pitch may be up.

Yes, but I think the point may be, since any decent player (which avidemux is NOT ... particularly decent, anyway) will do double playback speed and so much more, who cares if avidemux will do it or not?

If you look in the TOOLS section you will see Vegas listed under Editors, however it is not listed in the Players section....so

i'm not sure if you think i wanted to see a movie with avidemux, and if that's the case, where you got that idea.

anyway...i want to edit video (specifically, extract clips for the original one) and play through it at double speed.

for this i like to use avidemux.
