Hi guys,
Just noticed I haven't introduced MPDN to this forum and since its open source extensions could always use more developers as well as being prompted by a traffic entry in my GitHub repository from this site, I thought it'd be a good idea to post this here.
MPDN is the only media player that allows you to extend its capabilities (in both its renderer and player) through open source files straight from GitHub. These extensions current have nearly everything madVR has and more of its own except they are open source. In fact, madVR now also uses portions from MPDN Extension's LGPL code.
MPDN uses LAV filters only so it may not be everyone's cup of tea but if you're after high quality video playback, you should give MPDN a try. Our developers (from the user community itself) are always contributing to our GitHub repository to make MPDN better. But as I said, we could use more developers to make it even better.
