i've been shooting with a canon 70d now for awhile and am impressed. all I frame 90mbs avc mp4 high@5.1 plus it has a nice active auto-focus that uses the touch screen so you can move the focus point while shooting. the only drawback i can find is it still requires a decent add-on mic for good audio.

Already have the t2i (about 4 years now) and am quite happy with it. I won't upgrade until Canon comes out with a good 4k video capable DSLR for about $1000 Body only. I already have plenty of lenses..........
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........ -
4k would be nice, but this all I-frame no gop mp4 sure edits nicely
reminds me of working with DVavi.
even canon's brand new $4000 50MP full frame sensor 5DS R only records 1080p.Last edited by aedipuss; 31st Jul 2015 at 11:18.
