  1. I am trying to split a 4gb movie into 2 files so my POS Playstation 3 will play it. On a different forum I was told to download and use Minitool Partition Manager to do this. I downloaded and it looks like that tool is beyond my technical knowledge. Can anyone tell me how I would go about using that tool to split the one file into two files?

    Thanks!

  4. Minitool Partition Manger will not split a video file into smaller segments. It's for partitioning hard drives. Maybe someone was suggesting converting the file system on your drive to NTFS which allows for files over 4 GB (FAT only allows up to 4 GB) and maybe the PS3 will then play the large video (I don't know if that's the case).

Otherwise what you want is a video file splitting tool that will take your 4 GB MP4 file and turn it into two 2 GB MP4 files. I don't really know what will do that with MP4 files.
