I know that this is YT video but as this is embedded video then probably flash is required - uninstall flash and you will see, side to this link will be nice to add (i prefer to download video locally instead watching stream).

And yes, i know - i can extract link from page source but this is odd...

Personally i use Palemoon as safer browser than Firefox also don't use flash as is simply unsafe and to bloated...

Bloated with what? I'm using flash for ages, with different versions of windows, and never noticed anything like that. When you go to flash download page, there's a box that you can uncheck so that nothing else is installed (...well, maybe that's too much to ask from some people).

Don't flatter yourself - simply accept fact that some people not use flash and if you must use flash provide also regular link to YT (if possible) - that's all and going with your sense of humor "...well, maybe that's too much to ask from some people"

    Explanation:
I was pissed by constant complains from FF that you need to update plugin because is vulnerable - removed plugin and ... nothing happen - YT works correctly - it doesn't work on Videohelp - so once again if you believe that video is so important to attach it to discussion please provide link.

Still XP and Palemoon - no problems except embedded video on Videohelp (YT works fine) - no problems with any unwanted software/data from years.

    Link to YT movie:

Pay attention to the filesizes of the installers
Versions higher than 10.x are bigger AND SLOWER
(yes, you'll need a "sufficiently-ancient" machine for confirming they are slower).

I accept that fact and respect those who do it. My "sense of humor" was just a little sarcastic, nothing else. And yes, I agree with you, it's a good practice to provide direct links to video whenever possible.

The reason for my post, is because i've heard of peolple going a great length to install flash free from adware and such, when it is so simple really. I'm not talking about those who choose not to use flash, but of those who do the most elaborate maneuvers just to make sure they get a clean install.

If you look at this thread you'll get my meaning:

  10. Flashblock is an addon for Firefox that'll let you decide when flash is allowed. It seems it'll block silverlight and html5 video as well.

When it's enabled, the opening post in this thread should look something like this until you click on the flashblock symbol:

Name:	fb1.gif
Views:	131
Size:	26.8 KB
ID:	32780

Also handy for sites such as YouTube, where navigating to a page causes the video to automatically begin playing, especially if you've got a slow internet connection. You can "open" many videos in tabs without them all trying to play at the same time.

Name:	fb2.gif
Views:	126
Size:	24.8 KB
ID:	32781

And it blocks any flash advertising on pages that µBlock/Adblock doesn't catch.
Another reason I don't feel too unsafe running PaleMoon/Firefox and XP without an anti-virus program.

  11. Being now completely OT - i stopped using flash (installing) because some sites simply abuse flash...

Going back to topic - once again please consider in future providing link to video - side to embedded video - this will allow some less modern people access video .
