  1. I'm trying to make a video combined of many different ones and a lot of them are MOV. It was all good until after I reached 2 minutes and now everything that I add is just a green video. I tried the same MOV files in a new vegas project and they work fine. I searched in google, but all I can find is the codecs. I think I have codecs and they're working fine. It's using the qt7plug, which I downloaded from the web, renamed the old plugin and pasted the new one. This was offered as a solution. But it's not working in my case. I tried deleting the whole plugin, but it doesn't work that way. I uninstalled and installed again and still the same.
    Anything else I can do?

  2. I tried the handbrake software, it makes mp4 files and that works, but I have too many files and that's gonna take a long time, which I don't have.
Isn't there really any other working solution?

  3. Tell us more about your original files. My hunch is that they are long-GOP h.264 files. If they came from a phone they are probably variable frame rate. These kind of files require lots of computing power to use. Rewrapping or re-encoding them in handbrake won't make a lot of difference.

Use MediaInfo or Quicktime (CTRL+I) or Vegas properties to let us know the dimensions, frame rate, and codecs of your files.

You may end up having to encode to a more edit-friendly codec like cineform or edius or DNxHD.
