    Lot's of people ask from time to time about how to draw on video. It can be done but can get complicated. Then an easy way hit me the other day while I was doing a tut. Just use a screen capture utility like CamStudio to record writing or drawing in your image editor. Just make sure the background is a solid color like Black or White. Use a lossless codec for capture, Lagarith works well.

    Then import your cap video, crop as needed and key out the background color. Then overlay on your working video. You can can also track motion with your drawings if you'd like.

    Here is a short example I did over a video NewPball uploaded in another thread shot with his new G7:

    Yeah, very slick. Nice.

    That shot is Monument Valley, a Navajo holy place. Been there several times. It's breathtaking.
