Ulead Cool 3D...for today's hardware?

Ive been using Uleads Cool 3D pramme recently (a prog Ive kept for bloody years since it came out) to create animated 3d text/logos etc because it was quite easy to use with a lot of templates. However by todys standards it looks passé and doesn't run well on machines that are more powerful. Can anyone recommend something like this but has more templates/newer and takes advantage of the PCs out today? Ive no 3D experience so things like Maya are out. Ive tried Aurora but found it too basic (same with Xara). As Im out of the loop can anyone recommend something?

Corel has an updated version of Cool3D called MotionStudio 3D. It can be found here:

There's also Blufftitler.
Both have trial versions. Try both and see which one suits your need best. Personally, I use Blufftitler.
